Introduction This Service Agreement outlines the specific visa assistance services to be provided by Live Portugal Support (“the Company”) to the Client (“the Client”). This agreement is subject to and governed by the General Terms and Conditions of Live Portugal Support.

1. Description of Services Live Portugal Support will provide the following services:

1.1. Main Services:

  • Guidance on the necessary documents based on the visa type selected by the Client.

  • Assistance with filling out the required forms.

  • Administrative support for submitting visa applications to the competent authorities.

  • Scheduling in-person appointments for the Client at VFS Global or the competent consular authority, subject to availability.

1.2. Additional Services:

  • Document verification to ensure compliance with publicly stated requirements.

  • Coordination with third-party service providers, such as translators or delivery services, as needed. 1.3. Administrative Scope: The services provided are strictly administrative and do not include legal representation, unless explicitly agreed upon in writing. 1.4. Specific Case Analysis:

  • All applications will be handled with personalized support, tailored to the Client's specific circumstances.

  • Applications identified as particularly complex will include a consultation with an independent lawyer, arranged and covered by Live Portugal Support.

2. Service Limitations

2.1. Live Portugal Support does not guarantee visa approval. Decisions are made exclusively by the competent immigration authorities.

2.2. The scheduling of appointments is subject to availability. While Live Portugal Support will make every effort to secure an appointment within the Client’s desired timeframe, specific dates cannot be guaranteed.

3. Timeline and Processing

3.1. By law, the visa process can take up to 60 days from the date of submission to the consular authorities.

3.2. Additional delays may occur due to:

  • The time elapsed between the Client's appointment at VFS Global and the forwarding of the application to the consular authority.

  • Requests from the consular authority for additional clarification or documentation.

4. Service Fees

4.1. The Client agrees to pay the service fee of €1250, as outlined in the provided invoice, which must be paid in advance.

4.2. The service fees do not include:

  • Government application fees.

  • Costs associated with document translation or certification.

  • Additional expenses incurred due to the Client's failure to provide necessary documents.

5. Refund Policy

5.1. Visa Refusal for Reasons Beyond the Client's Control: In the event of a final visa refusal by government services for reasons beyond the Client's responsibility, Live Portugal Support agrees to refund the total service fees paid (€1250), minus a €350 administrative fee.

5.2. Client Cancellation: If the Client decides to cancel the service after payment and before its completion, there will be no right to a refund.

5.3. Service Not Provided by the Company: In the event that Live Portugal Support is unable to provide the service due to unforeseen circumstances, such as staff shortages or system issues, the refund will be total, in the amount of €1250.

6. Communication and Updates

Live Portugal Support will communicate with the Client via email or phone and will respond to inquiries within two business days.

7. Client Responsibilities

7.1. The Client must provide accurate and complete information and all necessary documentation in a timely manner.

7.2. The Client is responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of the filled-out forms before submission.

8. Service Conclusion

The service will be considered concluded upon the final decision of the consular authority. If the visa is granted, the service is considered complete upon the provision of guidance regarding the necessary documentation for obtaining the residence permit.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By entering into this Service Agreement, the Client confirms their understanding of the services to be provided, their limitations, and their responsibilities. This agreement becomes effective upon the Client's payment and Live Portugal Support's receipt of the payment.
